Morgan appeared in a film that was about AIDS awareness and prevention. Safe Sex for Men and Women. The proceeds was donated to the American Foundation for AIDS Research. Morgan is a member of the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan was the main force behind many fund-raising campaigns for the disease. She also addressed a Congressional special committee that focused on AIDS education. Morgan is also a member of the Board of Directors for Amfar as well as the Board of Governors of APLA. C. Everett Koop's former deputy surgeon general requested her occasionally to be his substitute during AIDS awareness activities. In addition, she was host of an AIDS Awareness Special hosted by Steve Bell. Ted Koppell interviewed Morgan twice on Nightline on AIDS. Morgan won an Emmy Award for Diane English's special Murphy Brown episode that was created specifically for Morgan. Morgan was co-starring in the ABC show Your Money or Your Wife along with Joan Rivers. In the following week, she kicked off her summer season with Murder At The PTA Luncheon which was produced by Von Zerneck/Sertner. Also, it featured Cindy Williams and Marla gibbs. After that, she was sent to Luxembourg to film the Harmony Gold's Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady. Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee also appeared in the film. Morgan was also a part of an action-packed psychological thriller created exclusively for USA Network. This thriller was a huge success and earned the top ratings of all time for the channel.
