Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina is a Kyrgyzstani Peruvian Muay thai fighter, mixed martial artist, and competing within the UFC flyweight division. She's older than her fellow UFC Fighter and the former UFC Flyweight Champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko began her fighting sporting career as a Muay Thai Kickboxer. She first made an appearance at the IFMA World Championship Tournament 2003 Shevchenko was the winner of the event and was defeated by Suzane Miller in the finals by a unanimity. Antonina Shevchenko won her second silver medal in 2007, with a bronze award in 2008. She also won the gold in 2011, and then was named the 2017 IFMA World Amateur Muay Thailand Champion. Antonia was first introduced to the professional world in with her debut in 2003. She won the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championships 2012 along with in the lightweight division of Lion Fight Championships in 2016 as well as both the WMC World Championships and the Phoenix FC World Championships 2016. Antonina's last fight was against Isa Tsidblad Keskikangas, who was a participant at Phoenix Fighting Championship. She won by a unanimity. Antonina Shychenko's professional MMA debut took place in 2002, at the KFK Cup of Kyrgystan where she was matched against Anara Bayanova. She prevailed in the second-round TKO and won her next 2-fights at WXF: X-Impact World Championships 2003 to amass a record of 3-1. Shevchenko was absent from MMA in order to concentrate on kickboxing. She returned against Anissa Haddaoui in Phoenix FC 3, 2017. Shevchenko defeated Anissa by a unanimous vote and she then beat Valerie Domergue at Phoenix FC 4. The promotion ended in 2018, and enrolled into Dana White's Contender Series in 2018. Shevchenko took on Jaimelene Nievera at Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina utilized her strike skills in order to TKO Nievera in the clinch by knees on the body. Antonina's UFC contract was extended after this victory. Antonina took part in her UFC debut in the TUF Heavy Hhitters Finale, against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko lost to Roxanne Modafferi in a split decision following her first fight. Antonina rebounded from her loss and defeated Lucie Pudilova with a back-naked choke submission in the 2nd round of UFC on ESPN Covington Vs. Lawler. She earned her second fight of the night for this fight. Shevchenko was defeated by Katlyn Cookagian and then defeated Ariane Lipski's three fights. Antonina was lastly defeated by Casey O'Neill via TKO at UFC Fight Night Santos -Walker.
