Aurora

Aurora Aksnes (born June 15 on the 15th of June, 1996 from Stavanger) is an Norwegian artist and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves is an album released in May 2015 from Decca Records. It has been praised by the blogs and the press. Half the World Away, by the Oasis band, was released for John Lewis Christmas advertisements and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole are two of her best-known songs. Katy Perry shared a tweet where Perry promoted her song Runaway. Make it a day to celebrate her birthday. Aurora Aksnes' earliest musical memories involve finding a piano hidden in her attic, and being captivated by its sounds. Jan Oystein Aksnes was her father. The Aksnes family encouraged her to not to do music just for pleasure or to aid in growing, but that she should pursue it. The Aksnes family advised her to compose. Her inspirations include famous writer Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan, as well as her love of Bjork's style. She decided to start performing her music in public when her mom suggested they can help other people, not gain acclaim for her music, but rather to help the people around them understand the importance of their work and how they impact the world. She was suggested by her mother to sing her songs in public so that people can see their own importance and how they can affect the world. It was unknown to her family members until she was fourteen. Aurora's fame was not her dream. Her sole passion is to compose music. For her music, is the most effective means of communicating anything.
